Cornbrean & Honey Butter



Cornbread Recipe
Cornbread Ingredients
- 1 ¼ Cups of All- Purpose Flour
- 1/3 Cup of Sugar
- ¾ Cup of Cornmeal
- 2 teaspoons of Baking Powder
- ¾ teaspoon of Salt
- 1 ¼ Cups of Milk
- ¼ Cup of Shortening
- 1 Egg


1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
2. Combine Dry Ingredients in Medium Bowl.
3. Add Milk, Shortening, & the Egg to dry ingredients.
4. Mix until all the ingredients are well mixed but don’t over mix.
5. Pour batter into a greased 8X8-inch Pan.
6. Bake for about 25 minutes or until the top is a golden brown.


Honey Butter Ingredients
- 1 Cup of Butter or 2 Sticks
- 2/3 Cup of Honey

Add together Honey & Butter in mixing bowl. Use a mixer on high speed to whip the honey butter together. Butter will be smooth & fluffy.
